Welcome to my home page. This is Ankur Gupta. I belong to a small village Sisoli in Meerut district. I got my primary and secondary education from schools in my village, which had no proper infrastructure. I always wanted to achieve something better in my life. With the thought of doing something in life and after getting some guidance from one of my school teacher Mr. Prem Chand, I started my career journey in 2005, when I left my home for higher education and I did not look back after that.

Currently,  I am working as a software engineer with Citrix R&D India Private Ltd. I have done my post graduation from Department of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in Database Management Systems under Prof. Jayant Haritsa. Prior to joining Indian Institute of Science, I was working with Education and Research unit of Infosys Limited as a Systems Engineer  in Electronics City, Bangalore.

I am very positive person, who always finds something positive in every negative situation. I feel that whatever good has happened in my life is linked with something bad in my past. I like interacting with students and guiding them about their career. I like to guide students because I feel that most of the deserving students don't get proper guidance about their career. Today whatever I am, is just because of the guidance that I got when I needed it most. I want to work on helping deserving students in making their career.
